The beta program is for West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Kerala, Bihar, Punjab and Andhra Pradesh, as mentioned on the dedicated web page.

Those who opt in for the Airtel VoLTE beta program will get 10GB after the confirmation that their handsets can support 4G VoLTE. This can be done by visiting the beta page and registering your number. If VoLTE is supported you will receive an OTP otherwise a message saying “Hi there! Airtel VoLTE is currently unavailable on your number.” The 10GB data will be valid for 28 days.

Another 10GB will be credited on providing feedback on VoLTE services at the end of week 4 (valid for 28 days). This will be followed by 10GB more on providing feedback on VoLTE services at the end of week 8 (valid for 28 days). However, to get 30GB of 4G data, you need to be in the same circle for where the beta program is being held.

Airtel is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to getting more customers and having a lead over the telecom giant Reliance Jio, which entered the market in 2016. A week ago it introduced the Rs 499 plan which directly competes with the Rs 498 plan from Reliance Jio. As part of Rs 499 plan, Airtel is offering unlimited local and STD calling, 100 SMS per day and 40GB data. The plan comes with a validity of one month.

On the other hand, Reliance Jio offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day and 182GB of data. The plan comes with the validity of 91 days and the users have the daily FUP limit of 2GB.
